The Fertiliser Association Of India Western Region

We are located in the New Commonwealth Society on Linking Road in Bandra West. It’s an old building, number 229, and it’s right in the middle of all the Bandra chaos. Being the Western Region office for the association means we deal with a lot of different people from the fertilizer industry. Our days are mostly filled with answering questions, organizing bits of data, and keeping our members updated on what’s happening in the sector. It’s not a flashy office. We have old wooden desks and stacks of reports everywhere. Linking Road is always loud outside, but inside, we just get on with the work. We don't sell anything directly; we are more of a middle ground for information. Sometimes we have small meetings where everyone squeezes into our main room to talk about soil or shipments. We’ve been in this society for a long time. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you haven't been here before. We don't have big signs or a modern glass front. It’s just an office where the staff knows their stuff about the industry. We handle the mail, we update the records, and we try to keep things running for the region without making a big deal out of it.
