The Chain Experts

We are located in Zaveri Bazar, specifically at Shop No. 5 on the first floor of 13/15 Champa Galli. If you know the area, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes can be. It’s a maze of shops and people, but we’ve called this place home for quite some time now. The Chain Experts is a small operation. We don’t have a big storefront on the ground floor; you actually have to come up the narrow stairs to find us. Our workshop is cramped and filled with specialized tools and little bits of metal shavings. It’s a bit messy, with wires and benches taking up most of the room. We don’t have air conditioning, just a few old fans that move the air around when it gets really hot in the summer. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office or comfortable chairs. Most of our work is done by hand, and it takes a lot of concentration and time. We spend our days hunched over the benches, working on various orders that come in. You can hear the sounds of the market below us all day long, from the shouting to the cart wheels. It’s a hectic place, but there’s a real sense of community among the shopkeepers in Champa Galli. We just focus on our craft and try to keep things moving without any fuss or fancy talk. It’s what we do.
