The Caretakers

We have been operating out of Andheri East for some time now. Our office is located in the Firoza Apartment, which is right across from the Natraj Studio on National Highway 8. This is a very busy part of Kamrej, and there is always a lot of noise from the traffic. We called ourselves The Caretakers because that is basically what we do every day. We look after buildings and properties for people who don't have the time to do it themselves. It is not a very complicated business. We check on things, fix what is broken, and make sure everything is running okay. Sometimes we have to deal with plumbing issues or electrical problems that pop up out of nowhere. It is just a few of us working here. We don't have any big corporate office or a fleet of fancy trucks. We mostly just walk or take the local transport to get where we need to be. The apartment we are in is a bit old, but it suits us fine. We have seen a lot of changes in Andheri over the years. New buildings go up and old ones get torn down, but there is always a need for someone to keep an eye on things. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. That is pretty much our whole story.
