We’ve been here at C-158 in the Amar Gyan Industrial Estate for a good while now. Khopat is always moving, and being in an industrial estate means there is always some noise from the neighbors or a truck backing up somewhere nearby. Dr. Madhukar Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. is just a place where we get things done. It isn’t some glass skyscraper with a fancy lobby. We have a regular door, some desks that have seen better days, and a lot of shelves filled with files and supplies. Usually, the morning starts with someone complaining about the traffic near the estate entrance. We drink a lot of tea from the stall just down the road because our own kettle is a bit temperamental. The walls are painted a standard off-white that’s starting to peel a bit near the ceiling. Most days are just about checking orders and making sure the boxes go out on time. There isn't much to say about the decor because there isn't any. It’s practical. We know the security guards by name and they know which of us is always late. When the monsoon hits, the sound on the roof is so loud you can barely hear the phones ringing. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to keep things moving. We don't spend time on big speeches or fancy posters. We just show up at Amar Gyan, do the work, and go home.
