Thandomal Shahani Engineering College

Thandomal Shahani Engineering College is our place, and we are based right here at the college itself. The address and the name are basically one and the same to everyone who knows us. It’s located in a very busy part of the city, so space is a bit tight compared to those big campuses out in the country. We have one main building that houses almost everything. It can get a bit crowded in the elevators, so most of us just take the stairs, which is faster anyway. The classrooms are tucked away on different floors, and you can always hear the muffled sound of a lecture going on through the doors. The labs are packed with equipment, and there is barely enough room to move when a full batch of students is working. We don't have a big playground, so people usually hang out at the entrance or in the nearby lanes during their breaks. It’s a lively spot with a lot of energy from the students who are always rushing somewhere. The office is small and usually has a pile of papers on the desks. We try to keep things running on time, but the city traffic sometimes has other plans for the staff. It’s a very urban kind of college experience. No fancy gardens, just a solid building where people come to get their engineering degrees. It feels like a tight-knit community because everyone is so close together all the time.
