Thakur Auto

Thakur Auto is located in Goregaon East. We have Shops 1, 2, and 3 in the D Ward section of Santosh. Having three shops sounds like a lot, but they are all next to each other and we need the space for all the parts and vehicles we work on. It is a very hands-on kind of place. Most of the time, our hands are covered in grease and the floor has oil spots that never really come out. We fix cars and bikes for the people in the area. It is a noisy job with the sound of engines and tools going all day. Goregaon has changed a lot since we first started, but people always need their vehicles fixed. We don't have a fancy showroom or a waiting area with a television. Usually, customers just stand around and chat while we take a look at their engines. We aren't trying to be a big corporate service center. We are just local mechanics who know what we are doing. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a specific part to arrive, which can be annoying for the customer, but that is just how it goes. We’ve been in this same spot for years and most people in D Ward know us. It is hard work and it can get very hot in the shop during the summer, but we like what we do. It is just a regular local garage.
