If you know anything about Powai, you know that Saki Vihar Road is almost always a mess of traffic and dust. We are located in Flat 1003 at Srishti Harmony, which is a residential building that we use for Tex24 Solutions. It is a bit of a climb up to the tenth floor, but at least it is away from the noise of the street down below. Working out of a flat feels a lot more relaxed than being in a stiff corporate office with cubicles and bright lights. We have a small kitchen area where we make our own tea and sometimes we just sit on the balcony for a break when the sun isn't too hot. There are about six of us usually crammed in around the main table with our laptops. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of paperwork to sort through, but we prefer it this way. The building staff is used to seeing us coming and going at odd hours. Powai is a busy area with a lot of startups, but we mostly just keep to ourselves in our little corner of the building. We don't have any big meetings or corporate events here. It is just a place where we can focus on the technical side of things and not worry about looking professional for anyone else. It is a comfortable spot to spend our working hours.
