We’re down on the ground floor of Solaris Building 1, in Wing D. Our unit is number 53, right across from L&T Gate No. 6 in Bhandup. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and there is always something going on outside our windows. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don’t have to wait for the elevators, which can be a pain in this building. The space itself is basic. We’ve got our desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of wires running along the walls. It’s not the quietest place because of the traffic and the people moving around the industrial area, but we’ve gotten used to the hum. Most days are spent looking at screens and talking over the noise of the AC unit. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek lobby or fancy furniture. We just needed a functional space where we could set up our gear and work. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost finding the right wing, so we often have to step out and wave them down. It’s a practical location for us since it’s easy for most of the team to reach by train or bike. We just keep our heads down and handle the work that comes our way each morning, making sure we stay on top of our daily list.
