Tera Software Ltd.

We are up on the 7th floor of the building in New Maneklal Estate. It’s right across from the conference hall at Vikrikar Bhavan in Mazgaon. This is where the primary data center for Tera Software Ltd. is located. It stays pretty cool in here because of the servers. There are a lot of wires and blinking lights. It’s not the kind of place people just wander into. We spend a lot of time looking at screens. The elevator to the 7th floor is sometimes slow, so you have to be patient. We have a small area where we sit and eat our lunch. The view of Mazgaon from up here is actually pretty good, especially when it’s not too hazy. We’ve been here for a while now. The space is filled with racks and cables. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with all the cooling fans running at once. We don't really do much in terms of decor. It’s a functional space. We have a few plants near the window that probably need more water than they get. The commute to Vikrikar Bhavan can be tough during peak hours, so we all have different start times. It’s just a group of us keeping things running. We go through a lot of tea and coffee. There’s always someone checking a monitor or fixing a connection. It’s steady work, nothing too exciting to talk about, but it’s what we do. We've got a whiteboard with some old diagrams nobody has erased yet.
