Tejani Tyre Service

Tejani Tyre Service is located at A 6 in Maheshwari Nagar, Andheri. This isn't a fancy office or a shiny showroom. It is a workshop where we get our hands dirty. We have been here for a long time, and the walls are stained with oil and dust. We spend our days dealing with tyres of all sizes. There are stacks of them everywhere you look. It can be quite a mess, but we know where everything is. My brother and I run the shop and we don't have any other staff. We don't use computers much, just a notebook where we write down what we’ve sold. It is noisy work with the sound of the machines and the cars coming in. Maheshwari Nagar is a busy area, so there is always someone needing help with a flat tyre. We have a couple of old chairs outside for customers, but most people just stand and watch us work. The floor is concrete and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. No one here spends money on big advertisements. Most of our customers come because they live nearby or their father used to bring their car here. It is hard work and it makes our backs ache by the end of the day, but it’s what we know. We just open up in the morning and stay until the last job is done for the day. If it starts raining, we have to move everything inside quickly.
