Teekay Enterprises

We are located at 15, Geeta Ind. Estate on I.B. Patel Road. If you know Goregaon (E), you know it can get pretty congested around here with all the trucks. Our unit isn't anything special to look at, just a standard industrial space where we run Teekay Enterprises. We’ve been in this building for years. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and looking over the list of what needs to go out that day. We handle a lot of different items, mostly supplies for other businesses. It’s a lot of loading and unloading. The elevator in the building is old and sometimes it’s a bit of a wait, so we end up carrying things if they aren't too heavy for us to lift. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the ropes and how things work here. My uncle started this place a long time ago, and we’ve just kept it going. We don’t really use fancy computers for everything; a lot of our notes are still on yellow paper pads. It works for us. The neighbors in the other units are mostly friendly, and we help each other out with tools or extra hands when needed. It’s a tight-knit spot. The rainy season is always a bit of a hassle because the road outside tends to flood, but we just put the stock on higher pallets and carry on. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to get through the work.
