Techset Pvt. Ltd. is in unit D-230 inside the Jai Bonanza Industrial Estate. This is in Ashok Nagar, over in Kandivili East. Being in an industrial estate means there is always something going on. You hear the sounds of other machines and the loading of trucks all through the day. Our space is mostly taken up by the equipment and the worktables. It’s a solid, practical place. We have high ceilings but it still feels full when we have a lot of work on the floor. The walls are that plain industrial grey, and the floor is concrete. We don’t spend much on making it look pretty because that’s not what we’re here for. We have a small corner with a couple of chairs and a kettle for making tea. Most of our time is spent standing up or moving between the different sections of the unit. The ventilation isn't the best, so it gets quite warm in the middle of the day. We usually leave the big shutter open to let some air in. People from the other units often stop by just to say hello or ask for a spare tool. It’s a tight-knit community here in Jai Bonanza. We’ve been in this D-230 spot for quite a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the estate. It’s just how we get things done here in Ashok Nagar.
