Technocrats

We have been at D-20, 21 in the Sainath Industrial Estate for quite a while now. It is right opposite the Pravasi Industrial Estate here in Goregaon East. Most days it is just us working on whatever projects come through the door. It is an industrial area, so it gets noisy and busy with trucks moving around all the time. Our space is not fancy or anything, just a practical workshop where we get things done. We started Technocrats because we liked fixing things and figuring out how machines work. It is mostly hands-on work. The neighbors around here know us well. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit messy, but that is just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We do not have a big front office with a receptionist. Usually, you will find us in the back with the tools. People come to us when they need something specific made or repaired. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a job takes three days, we tell you three days. There is no point in making things sound more complicated than they are. We have seen the area change over the years, more buildings going up, but we are still here doing our thing. It is just a regular local business. We keep the doors open, talk to the vendors, and keep the machines running. It is hard work but it keeps us busy. That is pretty much how we operate every day.
