Technical Assistant

We are located right here at Tansa House inside the IIT Bombay campus in Powai. It’s a busy spot and we’ve been here for a bit now helping out with whatever technical stuff comes our way. Mostly we just deal with the students and the folks living around here who have issues with their machines or need a hand with some setup. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workspace with enough tools to get the job done. Sometimes it gets pretty crowded, especially during the semester peaks when everyone's laptop decides to quit at once. We don't really do big advertising because most people just find us by walking past or hearing from a friend in the hostel. Our day usually starts with a pile of things to look at and we just go through them one by one. It’s honest work. We don’t promise miracles, but we usually figure out what's wrong if you give us enough time to poke around the hardware. If you are around 327D, you can just drop in. The address is pretty straightforward once you’re inside the gates. We try to keep things simple and not charge a fortune because we know how it is. It’s just a couple of us working here and we like the quiet environment of the campus. It keeps us focused on the repairs. Nothing much else to say, we just keep the lights on and the screwdrivers moving.
