This particular branch of Tata Consultancy Services (Vikhroli): is located at 158, Model House. We are in Flat No. 3 on the ground floor over in Sion East, Mumbai. It’s a bit different because people usually expect a huge campus when they hear the name, but we are right here in this flat. Being on the ground floor is actually pretty convenient for when we have deliveries or people dropping by. Sion is a central place, so it’s easy to get to, though the traffic near the station can be a nightmare sometimes. We’ve set up our workspace inside the flat with everything we need. It feels a bit more like a home than a sterile office environment. We have our computers and files and a small area for meetings. The walls are a bit plain, but they do the job. We focus on the consulting work that needs to be done. It’s mostly us typing away and talking through project details. There isn't any fancy art on the walls or a cafeteria. We just go out to the local shops when we need a snack or some air. It is a very practical way to run things. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and the neighbors in Model House know us by now. We just do our work quietly and stay out of the way. It’s not flashy, but we get the job done every single day without complaining.
