T M Engineering Works

We are located out in Bhandup, specifically in the Talegaon Dabhade area of Maval. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but we have plenty of space for our machines. The workshop is at number 91. Most mornings start with the sound of the lathe machines warming up. There is always a layer of oil on the floor, so you have to be careful where you walk. We do a lot of mechanical engineering work here, mostly turning parts and fixing old machinery. It’s a lot of precise work with metal. We use calipers and gauges all day to make sure everything is the right size. Sometimes we get an order for a part that hasn't been made in years, and we have to figure out how to do it from scratch. It’s mostly just us in greasy overalls, bent over the workbenches. The roof is made of tin, so it gets really hot in the summer and very loud when it rains. We don't have a receptionist; if you come by, you’ll probably find us at the back near the grinders. We keep our tools on big pegboards, but they usually end up scattered around by noon. It’s a basic setup, but we have everything we need to get the job done properly. No one here is worried about looking professional; we just care about the machines working right.
