Our office is based at C/5 in Hatment Colony, which is in the 400 012 area of Mumbai. It is a very crowded and busy part of the city, and space is always at a premium. Our office is not very large, and we have had to be quite creative with how we arrange our desks and storage cabinets. It's a cramped spot but at least it's in a part of the city we know well. The building itself is quite old and lacks the modern features of the newer developments. However, it is a very central location for us, which makes it easier to handle our day-to-day operations. The noise from the surrounding streets is something we have just grown accustomed to over the years. We are a small, tight-knit team and we don't have any formal corporate culture. We just expect everyone to show up and do their part. We don't have a receptionist, so we all take turns answering the phone or attending to anyone who comes to the door. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often eaten at our desks while we continue to work. During the monsoon, we have to be careful as the street outside tends to get flooded, but we have never let that stop us from opening up. It is a very down-to-earth and practical environment, where the focus is entirely on getting the job done without any unnecessary fuss or fancy talk. We just keep our heads down and work.
