Syndicate Metal & Alloys

Our place, Syndicate Metal & Alloys, is tucked away on the second floor over at 94/100, Maruti Mandir Marg in Mumbai. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something happening on the street below. We’ve been using P.Box No.3816 for our mail for many years. Being on the second floor means we get a little bit of a break from the noise of the street, but not much. We deal with all sorts of metals and alloys. The office is usually filled with the smell of metal and old paper. We have stacks of ledgers and a few computers that have seen better days. It’s a small team here. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and trying to find the right alloy for a specific job. Mumbai is a tough place to do business sometimes because of the heat and the traffic, but we make it work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to do right by the people who buy from us. Most of our customers have been coming to us for a long time. They know where to find us, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We keep regular hours, but sometimes we stay late if a big shipment is coming in. It’s just part of the job. We don’t put on any acts here, we just work.
