You can find us at the Sonarika Building, right on the ground floor at Shop Number 9. We’ve been operating out of this Chandawadi spot for a while. C.P. Tank Road is always bustling, and being on the ground floor makes it easier for us to move the heavy metal and alloys in and out. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s the constant sound of metal clanking and trucks idling outside. South Asia Metal And Alloys is really just a straightforward business. We deal with various metals and alloys that industrial units need. The shop is quite packed; we try to use every square inch of space we have. Sometimes the paperwork gets stacked high on the small counter we have, but we get through it. We aren't big on corporate talk. We prefer just dealing with people directly. Most of our regulars are from nearby workshops who know they can just stop by whenever they need something specific. The light in the shop isn't great, but we know the inventory well enough to find what's needed without searching for hours. It gets quite humid in this part of town, especially during the rains, which makes moving the stock a bit of a chore. We just keep at it, day after day. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get large shipments, but we’ve learned how to stack things efficiently. We’re just local people doing what we know and trying to stay organized in the chaos of the daily market.
