Let's talk about the Gora Gandhi building. We've been here at number 29 for quite a while now. Most days it’s just us surrounded by piles of metal and alloy samples. It’s not a fancy place, honestly. You walk in and you see desks covered in papers and maybe a few tea cups that should have been washed an hour ago. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and trying to figure out shipping schedules that actually work. Dealing with metalloys is heavy work, literally and figuratively. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit much, but we’re used to it. The team here knows their stuff, even if we look a bit tired by Friday afternoon. We keep the inventory lists moving and try to make sure everything that leaves here is what the customer asked for. It’s a lot of checking and double-checking numbers. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which keeps us fit I guess. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to get these metal orders out the door correctly and on time. It's just a regular workplace with people who show up and do the job because that's what needs doing.
