Synapse

Synapse is tucked away in Office No-13-C-6 of the Nandigram Cooperative Society. We are located on Gildedhill Road in Andheri West. It’s actually just behind the Andheri Recreation club. The building is one of those typical cooperative societies you see all over Mumbai. It’s a bit of a maze to find the right block sometimes. Our office isn't very large. It’s just a few desks and some computers. We’ve been here for a bit now. Being in Andheri West means it’s always busy outside. The traffic on Gildedhill Road can be a nightmare during rush hour. We can hear the sounds of the city from our window. It’s a convenient enough spot for us. There are plenty of tea stalls nearby where we go for breaks. The office walls are a bit plain. We haven't really spent much time on decor. We just focus on the work we have to do. Most of the other units in Nandigram are residential, so we try to keep the noise down. It’s a mix of people living and working in the same complex. Sometimes the elevator acts up, and we have to take the stairs. It’s just how it is in these older buildings. We like the location because everything is close by. It’s a practical place for the few of us to work from. We’ve settled in nicely over the years.
