Our office is located at 602/A in Ganpati Tower, which sits right in the heart of Thakur Village in Kandivali East. It is a very lively part of Mumbai, and there is always a lot of energy in the air. The building is quite tall, and we are up on the sixth floor, so we get a bit of a view of the surrounding apartments and the street below. The lift can be a bit temperamental sometimes, especially during the morning rush when everyone is trying to get to their offices at the same time. Inside, our space is quite modest. The chairs are a bit squeaky and the desks have scratches on them, but they serve their purpose. We are not a very large team, so we all know each other well and there is no need for formal announcements. We usually just shout across the room if we need something. The commute can be a bit of a struggle for some of us who come from further away on the local train, but we are used to it by now. We have a small area where we keep the kettle and some tea bags for our afternoon breaks. It is a quiet moment in a busy day. We don't have any big corporate posters on the walls. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and try to stay ahead of our schedule. It is a simple, no-nonsense environment for us.
