Symco Software is based over at 165 Shivshakti Estate. We are right across from Mittal Estate on Sir M.V. Road in Andheri East. If you know the area, you know how packed the roads get. Our office is in one of those older industrial estates that have been around for ages. It’s not the most modern building, but it’s sturdy and it suits us fine. We spend our days coding and fixing bugs. The stairs are a bit narrow and the hallways can be dark, but inside our unit, it’s bright enough. We have a small team of developers who have been working together for years. Most of us take the local train and then walk from the station, which is a bit of a trek in the humidity. We don’t have any fancy posters or corporate slogans on the walls. It’s mostly just whiteboards covered in scribbles and diagrams. Sometimes the noise from the street gets loud, but we just put on headphones and keep at it. Lunch is usually something we order from the local place downstairs or bring from home. We are just a group of people who enjoy building software. We don’t make a big deal out of it. It’s just what we do every day from Monday to Saturday. The address is easy to find once you get onto the main road. We’ve been in this spot so long the postman doesn't even need the number.
