Our office is at Gj-17 in the SDF VII building inside SEEPZ, Andheri East. It is a busy industrial area and we are part of that daily grind. Being in SEEPZ means there is a lot of security and rules, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time inside the unit working on the jewelry. It is a professional setting but we keep it pretty relaxed among ourselves. There are machines running and people focused on small details. It can get a bit loud with all the activity in the building. We do not have a retail store where people walk in off the street. It is more of a production space. We have benches and specialized tools all over the place. Lunch breaks are usually spent talking about the day's work. We have been here for a while and the staff knows the routine well. It is not a place for browsing. We just focus on making the pieces and getting them ready. Andheri East is always moving fast and we just keep up with it. The space is used efficiently because every inch matters in these units. We do our best to stay organized despite the constant flow of materials. It is just honest work in a busy Mumbai suburb. We do what we do and try to get it done right.
