Sv Deshmukh

Sv Deshmukh is located right in the middle of Vardhaman Market in Vashi. If you know Section 17, you know it gets pretty crowded around lunch time. Our office is at number 226. It’s a small space, but it fits everything we need to get through the work day. The walls are a bit plain, and we have a calendar from last year still hanging up because nobody bothered to take it down yet. Navimumbai weather is something else, so the fan is usually running at full speed all the time. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we have to walk the stairs, which isn't great when it's hot out. We keep a lot of our files in these big metal cabinets that squeak every time you open them. It’s not a quiet place because the market noise travels up, but it feels like being part of the neighborhood. We usually eat lunch at our desks or head out to one of the stalls nearby if we have the time. Working here is mostly about staying on top of the tasks and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It's just a regular office where we show up, do the work, and go home. People stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask for directions in the market because they get lost. We don't mind. It makes the day go by a bit faster. It’s just how things are here in Vashi.
