We are located at 14/976 Abhyudaya Nagar in the Kalachowki area of Mumbai. Being in Mumbai means we are used to the noise and the constant movement of people outside the windows. The building we are in is one of those old residential structures where a lot of small businesses have set up shop over the years. Our space is packed with hardware, testing kits, and different gadgets we are working on. It’s a bit cramped, and we have to be careful not to trip over the power strips on the floor. We do a lot of tech work, which means there are always boxes of parts arriving or being sent out to customers across the city. The elevator in the building is a bit temperamental, so we often end up taking the stairs, which is good for exercise I suppose. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby; you just knock on the door and walk into the middle of whatever we are doing. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we don't need much explanation to get things done. It can get pretty stressful when a project is due, but we usually manage to get it finished on time. We often stay late, and then the only sound is the hum of the computers and the occasional siren from the street below. It’s just how things are in this part of town.
