Supergems (India) Pvt Ltd. has its office at 501 in Prasad Chambers. This area around the Opera House is always busy, so there is usually a lot of noise outside our windows. We have been in this room for quite some time now. It’s a standard office space where we manage the gemstone side of things. There are plenty of other businesses in the building, so the elevators are often slow. We spend most of our time at our desks or talking to people on the phone. The Opera House neighborhood has a long history with this kind of work, and we are just one of the many offices doing it. We don’t have a big showroom or anything flashy to look at. It’s mostly just paperwork and looking at stones under the lights. Sometimes it gets crowded in the office when everyone is here at once. We keep our supplies tucked away in the cabinets and try to stay on top of the orders that come in. It’s a job like any other, and we like the routine of coming into Prasad Chambers every day. The view from the fifth floor isn’t much, but it’s home for the business. People usually just drop by when they have something to discuss. We don't spend much time on the website or making things look perfect. We just do the work as it comes without making any fuss about it.
