Super Gem'S & Jewel'S

Super Gem'S & Jewel'S is based out of 62 Zaveri House on N. S. Patkar Road. It’s a well-known building in this part of town, so we get a decent amount of people passing through. Our space is more of a workplace than a fancy store. We spend most of our time looking at small stones and checking settings. It’s detailed work that takes a lot of patience, so the office is usually pretty quiet. We have a few desks set up and some old safes where we keep things tucked away. The lighting in here is really bright because we need to see what we are doing. Sometimes the traffic on N. S. Patkar Road gets really loud, but you stop noticing it after a few hours. We don’t really have a sales pitch or anything. People come in, they look at what we have, and we talk about the pieces. It’s very relaxed. We’ve been here long enough that we know the neighbors and the local chai guy. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we’re more like a family than anything else. We don’t bother with much marketing because we’re usually too busy with the work at hand. If you stop by, you'll probably see us hunched over a workbench or talking to a regular customer. It’s just how we operate. We keep things simple and try not to let the stress get to us too much. We focus on the task and getting the stones exactly where they belong.
