If you’re over in Dahisar near the Happy Home Society, you’ve probably seen our shop at Chisti Chambers in Shahpur. We’ve been fixing cars and scooters here for a good while now. It’s a typical garage—there’s grease on the floor, tools scattered around, and usually a couple of engines pulled apart on the benches. We aren't one of those big, shiny service centers. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a wrench and an oil filter. Most of our day is spent under a hood or crawling under a chassis to find out where that rattling noise is coming from. It gets pretty hot and sweaty in the workshop, especially in the afternoons, but we just keep at it. People from around the neighborhood bring their vehicles to us because they know we’ll just tell them what’s wrong without any nonsense. We deal with flat tires, brake issues, and engines that won’t start. Sometimes we’re waiting on a part to arrive from a supplier, so things might take an extra day, but we try to get people back on the road as soon as we can. It’s hard work and our hands are always dirty, but it’s what we know how to do. You can usually find us here from early morning until the sun goes down, just working on whatever comes through the door. We don't mind the noise or the mess, it’s just part of the garage life.
