You can find us on the third floor of the Damodar Building, right across from the Central Bank here in Kalbadevi. It’s an old building, so you have to walk up the stairs since the lift is often acting up or stuck on another floor. Our space isn't very large, mostly just worktables and the machines we use for making seals and rubber stamps. It smells like ink and cut rubber most days when we are busy. We do a lot of work for the offices and businesses around this area. It’s mostly just me and a helper getting orders ready. We don't have a fancy waiting area or any air conditioning. People usually just drop off what they need and come back later in the afternoon to pick it up. Kalbadevi is always crowded and loud with traffic, but once you get up to the third floor, it’s a bit quieter for us to focus. We’ve been making stamps for a long time, so we know how to get the lettering right even if the logos are a bit complicated. We don’t do much advertising at all; people just find us by word of mouth or by seeing our small sign downstairs near the entrance. It’s steady work, and we take it seriously because a seal has to be perfect or it is useless for paperwork. We keep track of everything in a big paper ledger. Just a workshop where we spend our time making sure every stamp works.
