Suncity Computers & Networks

If you know Lamington Road, you know it is a maze of electronics and people rushing around. We are located at Suncity Networks, which is unit 301 in the Ganesh Bhuvan building on Shamrao Vithal Marg. Being on the third floor means we are a bit removed from the immediate chaos of the street, but you can still hear the horns and the shouting. The building is one of those older ones with narrow corridors and a lift that you might choose to skip if you are in a hurry. Inside our space, it is mostly boxes of routers, switches, and rolls of networking cable. We have some desks for testing equipment and a couple of computers that are always running something. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a large shipment of gear in. We spend a lot of time crimping cables and configuring settings for different setups. It is not a glamorous job. The lighting is a bit dim in the hallways and we have posters on the walls that have been there for years. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. People from the nearby shops often drop in to ask for a specific connector or just to see what we have in stock. It is a busy little hub for us and we just keep plugging away at the daily tasks without much fuss.
