Sun Metalics & Alloys Pvt. Ltd. is based out of G-14 in the Neha Industrial Estate in Borivali East. We’re on the ground floor, which makes it a lot easier for moving things in and out. This part of Borivali is always full of trucks and small manufacturing units, and we fit right in. We deal with various metals and alloys, mostly for industrial use. The warehouse area is always packed with crates and raw materials. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes if you don’t know where things are kept. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re basically in the middle of the operation. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been working with metals for a long time. It gets hot in the summer with all the machinery and the lack of a good breeze, but we keep the fans going and get through it. We supply a lot of the smaller shops in the area and some bigger ones further out. There’s always paperwork to catch up on, and sometimes the orders get a bit mixed up if we aren't careful, so we try to double-check everything. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide the right alloys to the people who need them. It’s a steady business and we like the community here in the industrial estate. It feels like everyone is just trying to make a living and do a decent job every day.
