Sun Chem (India)

Sun Chem (India) is tucked away in the Guru Gobind Singh Industrial Estate in Goregaon East. Specifically, we are at unit 119. If you know the area, you know it’s just off the Western Express Highway, near the old Jay Coach stop. It’s a crowded spot, and getting here in the morning can be a real struggle with the Mumbai traffic. Our space is functional. We handle a lot of chemical-related stuff, so there’s always a certain smell in the air and plenty of drums or containers being moved around. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the sound of trucks reversing or workers loading things nearby. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with orders to worry about that. It’s a grit-and-grind kind of life here. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. People come in, discuss what they need, and we see if we can make it happen. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know the routine. It’s an industrial life, plain and simple. We manage the stock, handle the logistics, and try to keep things moving despite the heat. Being near the highway helps with deliveries, even if the noise never really stops. We are just a group of people making sure the chemical supplies get to the right places.
