We are located in Building Number 17, up on the second floor. Axtron Text Chem (India) Pvt Ltd has been in this Kalbadevi spot for a good while. The easiest way to tell people how to find us is to say we are near the ICICI Bank. Everyone knows where the bank is. Being in the chemical and textile business means we deal with a lot of technical stuff, but our office is pretty basic. It’s an old building called Jai something, and it has that classic Mumbai feel to it. The windows don't always close all the way, and you can hear the bank customers and the traffic outside. We spend our hours looking over orders and talking to suppliers. It isn't a high-tech setup with fancy gadgets. We have our computers and our stacks of paper. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building quite hard, so it gets warm. We usually have the fans going full blast. We don't have any polished speeches about what we do. We just process the orders and make sure the chemicals and textiles get where they need to go. It’s a lot of routine work, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes we walk down to the bank just to get some cool air for a minute. It’s just a regular business day for us here in the middle of the city.
