Sumer Borkar

Sumer Borkar operates out of the Annapurna Mahila Mandal premises in Vashi. We are at Plot No. 14 in Sector 19E. It is very close to Kopri Village, so the area has a mix of that old village feel and the newer Navi Mumbai layout. We have a couple of rooms there that we use for our daily work. It is not a fancy corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find us sitting at our desks with the windows open to catch a breeze. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of community activity going on around us. Sumer is often here, checking on things and making sure we stay on top of the schedule. We don't have any promotional materials or big mission statements. We just focus on what needs to be handled each morning. The building is a simple structure and it serves the community well. We are just a part of that. Finding us is pretty easy if you know where Kopri is. Most of the local people are familiar with the Mahila Mandal. We like being in a place that feels real and connected to the people around us. There’s no pressure to look a certain way or act like a big company. We just do our work, have our lunch breaks, and go home. It is a very practical and honest setup for us and we’ve been here for quite some time.
