Our office is up on the third floor of Building 296, Room 11 A. It’s right in the middle of Govind Wadi, Kalbadevi Road. If you know Mumbai, you know how Swadeshi Market gets. It’s always loud, always moving, and there is always someone shouting or a cart moving somewhere. We are right in the thick of it at Plot 292/294. Being on the third floor helps a little bit with the noise, but you can still feel the energy of the market downstairs. Sugoe Tech Services is what we call ourselves, but really we are just a small group trying to navigate the tech world from this old building. The stairs are a bit steep and the elevator can be moody, so we usually just walk up. It’s a very traditional Mumbai setup. We have desks squeezed in where they fit. Sometimes the power flutters or the internet acts up because it’s an old area, but we manage. We aren't some sleek startup from a fancy tech park. We are just here in the middle of the market, working through our lists and trying to keep our clients happy. It gets cramped when we have all the equipment out, but it’s home for us during the work week. We like the chaos of Kalbadevi; it keeps us awake. There is always a place nearby to get good chai, which is a big plus for the team. We just keep our heads down and get through the tasks.
