Suashish Jewellery Ltd.

Down here on Datta Pada Road in Borivili East, we’ve got our setup for Suashish Jewellery Ltd. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but it’s a good spot once you get here. We spend a lot of time dealing with diamonds and gold. The office isn't anything too special to look at, just a place where work gets done every day. We have a lot of people coming in and out, some for business and some just looking for a gift. The traffic on Datta Pada Road can be a nightmare during the rains, but we're always here regardless. We started out small and just kept at it, year after year. We don't go for those loud advertisements you see on TV. We mostly rely on the fact that we’ve been in Borivili for a long time. People know us. We sit at our desks, check the stones under the light, and make sure everything is sorted. It’s a lot of staring at tiny things, which can be hard on the eyes, but it’s the trade we know. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about how much the area has changed since we first opened. There used to be more trees, now it’s all buildings. But our shop is still here, doing the same old thing. We keep the doors open and the books balanced.
