Sri Radhakrishna Shipping Pvt Ltd is located at 93/95 Kazi Sayed Street. We are over in the Deonar Farm Road area, specifically in Sugar House, which is right opposite Shahid Bhagat Singh Road. It’s a part of town that feels very much connected to the port and the trade that happens there. The office is in an old building that has seen a lot of history. Inside, it’s mostly desks piled with documents, shipping schedules, and logs. We spend most of our time on the phone or tracking shipments on the computer. It’s not a quiet place; you can hear the traffic from Shahid Bhagat Singh Road all day long, and there’s always someone coming in or out with a delivery or a form to sign. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, but that’s about as fancy as it gets. The paint on the walls is a bit dull, and the furniture is the kind that’s built to last rather than look good. Working in shipping means you’re always dealing with delays or changes, so we just take things as they come. We don’t have any big mission statements on the wall, just calendars and maps. It’s a straightforward business where we focus on the logistics and making sure the paperwork is in order. Most of us have been doing this for a long time, so we just get on with it. It is a long walk to the main road from here, but we are used to it and don't mind the exercise much anymore.
