Our place is located in Chembur, tucked away on Ranade Road. If you know the Chagan Mitha Petrol Pump on Sion Trombay Road, we are right behind that. It’s a handy spot because people can fuel up and then come to us. We’ve been doing this for a while now, mostly focusing on fixing things and making sure machines are running right. It gets pretty greasy and loud in the shop, but that’s part of the job. We have a few guys who have been with us for a long time and they know their way around an engine. We don't have any big waiting room with coffee or anything like that. Usually, people just drop off their stuff and come back later when it's finished. We spend our days covered in oil and dirt, trying to figure out why something stopped working. Sometimes parts are hard to find, so we have to go searching around different markets in the city. Chembur is a busy area, and there's always a lot of dust from the road. We just try to get the work done as fast as we can without making mistakes. It’s a small operation, nothing corporate about it. We just like fixing things and seeing them work again. People come to us because we are right in the neighborhood and we don't try to sell them things they don't really need for their cars.
