You can find us at 311, Abdul Rehman Street. It’s right across from Crawford Market, so you know how crowded it gets around here. Our shop is full of plastic items, from large containers to all sorts of small household things. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all the bags and stacks of goods everywhere. We don't have much room to move, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The street outside is always noisy with people shouting and carts going by. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building definitely shows its age. The walls are a bit stained and the old ceiling fan makes a clicking noise. We don't mind it much. Most of our day is spent helping customers find the right size or color for whatever plastic thing they need. We keep a handwritten ledger for the sales, though sometimes we forget to write things down immediately. It’s a simple business. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop. When the monsoon hits, the street gets really messy, but we keep the door open anyway. People come in and out all day long. It’s a lot of work carrying the heavy crates, but it keeps us moving. We’re just local people selling plastic goods in a busy part of town. It’s nothing more than that. We just do our work and go home. That’s our daily routine here.
