Solvex Interchem Pvt Ltd is located up on the first floor of Raja Bahadur Mansion. If you know the Fort area, you know Tamrind Lane gets pretty narrow and crowded. We’ve been at 43/45 for a good stretch of time. The building is one of those old ones with high ceilings and stairs that have seen better days. It's a bit of a climb, but you get used to it. Inside, it's just desks and filing cabinets and a lot of talk about chemicals and industrial stuff. It’s not a showroom or anything fancy. Just a place where we sit down and get the orders sorted. Most of the guys here have been around for years, so we know the routine. We deal with a lot of different companies, mostly just shipping out what they need for their factories. It’s noisy outside with all the traffic and people shouting, but once you’re inside the mansion, it settles down a bit. We keep the windows open mostly to get a breeze. The office is tucked away, so if you aren’t looking for the sign, you might walk right past it. We don't have a big reception area or anything. You just walk in and someone will usually look up from their computer. It’s just us doing the daily grind in an old part of town. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight.
