Solankiashish

Solankiashish is over in Malad East, specifically in Building Number 10 of the Shah Housing Society. We are located at 55 on R.S. Marge in the Dhanje Wadi area. If you know Mumbai, you know Malad is a place that never really stops moving. The housing society is one of those busy places where there are always kids running around or people drying their laundry on the balconies. Our office is tucked away inside the building. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for us to keep things running. We have a couple of desks pushed against the walls to make more space in the middle. The noise from the street below can be quite loud sometimes, with all the rickshaws honking, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. It’s just part of the background music of working in this part of town. We don’t have a reception desk or a waiting room. Usually, if someone comes by, they just pull up a plastic chair and we talk right there. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at our screens. The light in the room isn't the best, so we have a few extra lamps sitting around. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup in the middle of a very crowded, very lively Mumbai neighborhood. Living and working in Malad means you never have a dull moment, even if it is noisy.
