Softlite Blind (India)

We are Softlite Blind (India) and our office is at B-3 in the Raj Mahal building. That is on M.V. Road in Andheri (E). It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always something going on outside. We have been in this spot for several years now. The space is filled with different types of blinds and materials. We spend a lot of our time measuring things and talking to customers who walk in. It’s not a corporate headquarters, just a working office where we keep our tools and samples. The Raj Mahal building is easy enough to find if you are coming down M.V. Road. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It helps the day go by faster. Andheri East is a good place for a business like ours because everything is close by. We don't do any big fancy presentations. We just show people what we have and let them decide. Softlite Blind (India) is a small team. We all do a bit of everything, from answering the phone to packing up orders. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the fabric scraps, but that is just part of the job. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by. It’s a steady rhythm we have here, just working through the list of things to do and making sure people get their blinds on time. We usually lock up around six.
