Softech Consultant is tucked away in Kandivali West, specifically at 2nd Main in Maruthi Extension 603. It's not the kind of place you’d just stumble upon if you weren't looking for it. The office is usually quiet, mostly just the sound of keyboards clicking and the old fan humming in the corner during the hot months. We spend a lot of time looking at computer screens and trying to figure out various technical problems for people who call us up. It’s not flashy work at all, but it’s what we know how to do. The neighborhood here is mostly residential, so it feels quite different from the big, noisy business hubs in other parts of the city. We’ve been at this specific location for a long time, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the actual work to worry about how the place looks. Some days we have people coming in for advice on their systems, and other days we’re just buried in emails and code. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby with magazines and soft chairs. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently on a phone call. It’s a very straightforward setup with no nonsense. We handle things as they come. Sometimes the internet acts up in the building, and we all have to wait around, which is just part of being in this area. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of Maruthi Extension.
