Softech Computer

Softech Computer is situated in A/11 of the Monarch C H S in Andheri East. It’s a decent enough building, though the parking around here can be a real nightmare during the office hours. Our shop is basically one big room filled with the hum of computer fans and the glow of several monitors. It’s not very tidy, to be honest. There are usually cables tangled in corners and stacks of old keyboards waiting to be recycled or fixed. We spend most of our time sitting at the workbenches with screwdrivers and soldering irons. People from the apartments nearby often drop by because their laptop won't turn on or they need a specific cable they can't find elsewhere. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just see one of us coming out from behind a pile of monitors to say hello. We don’t use a lot of big words to explain what’s wrong with a computer. If it’s broken, we tell you it’s broken and see if it’s worth fixing. Sometimes we can fix things quickly, other times we have to wait for parts to arrive from across the city. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure that when someone brings in a computer, they can get it back in working order without spending a fortune. It’s just everyday tech support for the neighborhood, and the tea break is the highlight of our afternoon.
