You can find us at Shop A/14 in Building Number 3. We are in Goregaon East, not too far from the Krishna Vatika Mandir. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the main road. Sms Infotech is basically where we fix computers and look at motherboards all day. The shop is filled with old monitors and boxes of cables that I keep meaning to sort through. I started this shop because I liked taking things apart to see how they worked. Now, neighbors bring their laptops when they won't turn on or if they need a new part. It’s a small space, so it gets a bit cluttered. Sometimes the smell of incense from the temple nearby drifts in, which is nice. I don't have a big team, usually just one other guy helping me out with the repairs. We aren't some big service center where they charge you just for looking at the machine. We just see what's wrong and tell you if it's worth fixing or not. The floor is usually covered in screws and plastic bits. We have a small stool for customers to sit on while we check their devices. It’s a basic life in Goregaon. We open up late in the morning and stay until the last job is done for the day. Sometimes people bring in things that are so old they should be in a museum, but we try to fix them anyway. Sms Infotech is just me and my friend. We don't have a big sign outside.
