Our office is over in Sion East, specifically in Flat No- D/ 403 at Sion Koli Wada. It’s a bit of a climb if the stairs are the only option, but we’re used to it by now. Working out of a residential flat gives it a different feel than a big glass building. It’s more personal and a lot less stiff. We handle a lot of info-tech stuff from here. The neighborhood is always active, with people moving around the Koli Wada area at all hours. We’ve been here for some time, and most of the locals recognize our faces. We usually start the day with some hot tea and a quick look at the tickets that came in overnight. It’s not always quiet, but we like the energy of Sion. We have computers set up in the main room and wires running along the walls to keep everything connected properly. Sometimes the monsoon makes the commute a bit of a mess, but we always make it in eventually. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of staff and human resources departments. It’s just us trying to keep the systems running for the people who rely on us. We don't use fancy words or marketing speak to describe what we do. If a computer is broken or a network is down, we look at it and try to fix it. That's the whole story. We keep some spare parts in the cupboards and keep our heads down. It’s practical work.
