If you’re looking for Shop No. 25, you have to find the Harharwala Building on Ardeshir Dadi Street. It’s right near the Alankar Cinema, so it’s always crowded and there’s always music or traffic noise nearby. The shop itself is pretty small, packed wall to wall with different metal samples and alloys. S.V.P. Road is a bit of a nightmare for parking, so most people just pull up for a second or walk over. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time, dealing with all kinds of metal supplies. It’s a lot of talk about specifications and weight. We get people coming in from all over the neighborhood looking for specific alloys for their projects. Sometimes it’s just a small piece of something, other times it’s a big order we have to coordinate. The walls are lined with shelves that haven't been empty in years. It gets pretty dusty with all the metal sitting around, and we’re constantly shifting stacks to find what someone asked for. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. Usually, the morning is spent checking what came in and the afternoon is for the customers who drop by after work. It’s a tight space, but it works for what we do, and being near the cinema makes it easy for people to give directions to us.
