Silverline Technologies Ltd. is based over at Nariman Point in the Maker Chambers-V building, specifically in unit 1405. If you know Mumbai, you know how this area gets during the work week. It’s all people in a hurry and cars everywhere. Our office isn't one of those massive corporate floors you see on TV; it’s more of a functional space where we get the work done. The view from the building is okay, but most of the time we are just looking at our monitors. We’ve been around for quite a while, seeing the city change outside our windows. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch rush, so we’ve learned to time our breaks carefully. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional meeting in the corner. We don't spend much on decorations or expensive furniture because we’d rather just have good computers and comfortable chairs for the long hours. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the office gets very quiet except for the hum of the air conditioning. It’s a steady kind of life here. We’re just a regular group of people doing our jobs in one of the busiest parts of the city, trying to keep up with the pace of everything happening around Nariman Point. It’s a lot of screen time and too much coffee, but it is what we do.
