Sigmasoft Consulting is tucked away in the Pimpleshwar Krupa building over on Currey Road. We are at number 126 in the housing society. Mumbai is a crowded place, and our office reflects that a little bit. It’s a cooperative housing society, so it feels very much like a home. We have been working out of this space for some time, helping people with their consulting needs. It gets noisy outside with the trains and the traffic, but we are used to it by now. Inside, there are just a few desks and some old filing cabinets. We do a lot of talking on the phone and sitting at our laptops. It is not a place with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, one of us just opens the door if someone knocks. We handle various consulting tasks, mostly just trying to solve the puzzles our clients bring us. Sometimes the monsoon makes the commute to Currey Road a bit of a mess, but we still show up. We know the local shops around here and the people in the building. It’s a modest way to run a business, but it works for us. We don't need a lot of space to do good work. It’s just about being reliable and showing up every morning to get through the list of things to do. We keep things pretty informal because that is just how we prefer to work as a small team.
